AM Joy needs to leave the preachers (Burns yesterday, non-racist Rev Forbes today) at the church

If I wanted to be preached about "God said all people are created equal" I'd go to a church. We will never be treated equal if it is left to the church. We need laws and enforcement, not prayers.

any guest she wants. If a member of the clergy or anyone else with a religious viewpoint has a useful statement to make, what's the problem?

their so called guest's are. Comcast has Booker's who arrange and schedule their Panelist's. It's all about the Producers and Directors, the Talent have minimal control. Joy Reid has been stretching the here talent's and suspect she will get here wings clipped .

hateful heart, then no harm, no foul. Maybe someone belonging to a church heard those words and will take it upon themselves to search their souls for some humanity.

I don't have a problem with preachers. I only have a problem when they preach hate.

from the Democratic Party.

And Joy is showing them that it's possible to know the Bible well, to come from that background, and to be a proud liberal shooting down RW talking points that twist the Bible to try to make it support Republicans.

of different faiths, as well as non-believers.

As an aside, as an atheist, I really appreciate Reverend Barber's voice and like to see him on shows and hear what he has to say.

I’m an atheist but the language of religion and the actual tenets of many of them are important for us to be able to understand and use. They explain things in particular detail that cold, general words don’t. Used well they accomplish a lot. And like it or not we live in a world where the majority of people believe in some form of religion.
