Sen. Cotton, as one Arkansas guy named Tom to another.

The good people of Arkansas are gullible but not stupid.

You were first elected from Arkansas crowing about your Army service. We folks in Arkansas appreciate military service. However, we folks in Arkansas still buy the idea of officers as ladies or gentlemen of honor. We know that Army values include honor and integrity. We also know that this week you have displayed neither.

One thing the good people of Arkansas don't have any time for is a liar. By lying for Trump you have earned the lowest criticism of any one from Arkansas: "Your mom 'n them raised you better that that."

This isn't about politics. This is about being a good and honorable person.

You are from your father the devil, and you choose to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks according to his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

I.already wrote him quoting that and saying Arkansans will remember this, and how pathetic it is to see him toadying to Washington influence just to ride on an "unrepentant sinner's coattails".

Sometimes we have to pretend like we might be their voters when we write... muhaha.

I don't know if he'd listen, but he IS being a total Trump-humper because his next election is in 2020. He IS hoping for a coattails victory.

And he's a damn liar.

I never have - and never will - vote for Cotton.

I'd vote for a three legged yeller dog before I voted for Cotton.

That's why I usually make my letters to our current Republican critters sound like they could be from their demographic (Christian, etc).

Next time you write, you might question how calling Sen. Durban a liar squares with the whole "Thou shalt not bear false witness" thing.

Cotton spends one whole lot more time lately in Iowa than he does in Arkansas. He bears watching.
