(73,308 posts)I think we are approaching a tipping point, since so many staff people lost their clearances. Add to that some increase in the speed and pressure of the Mueller investigation. And even Kelly and Sessions recognizing Trump can't afford to fire them now.
It's not the end. But it's getting there.

(51,430 posts)When Manafort was indicted the pundits agreed that THAT was the "end of the beginning" so if you look at the whole picture we are in the middle. Most pundits agree that this will go into 2019.

Who is the dRumpf contact out there? First, the loan to Jared, then a report of a $50 million loan back to mr dRumpf and him paying a $4 million interest accrual/payment, through an LLC.

If anyone in President Obama's administration had done similarly, they would have been apoplectic.

(347 posts)The Trump White House will survive, but, I can see an isolated, raging, angry, friendless Donald Trump wandering the family quarters, alone, hair in disarray, bathrobe falling open around his lard ass, raving, tweeting . . . Melania and Barron back in NY; Jared in jail; Ivanka in hiding . . . and all of it well-deserved.
