Anderson Cooper explaining the word 'gaslighting' again. Love it that

we are being given the words to understand our world. I remember watching the series M*A*S*H on DVD a few years ago. They were always calling each other and foes out for bad behaviour. I noticed they had the words for all manner of exploitation. I think we lost the words as the public became relatively safer from conmen. As the greatest generation died off. Then we became sitting ducks for the GOP noise machine and the NRA in the 90s and 2000s. And of course this generation of conmen and conwomen have found a home within those two groups.

Ingrid Bergman, Joseph Cotten, Charles Boyer and Angela Lansbury got an Oscar nomination for her first film at age 16. I have used the word as verb since I first saw the film 35 years ago in college.
