4. This is a set up: Nunberg's job is to stand up to Mueller and show how bad the subpoenas are.

Nunberg is defying Mueller and daring him to jail him for contempt of court. Once Nunberg is in contempt of court and about to go to jail, Trump will pardon him, signaling to others that they too can defy the court and not testify.

Nunberg may or maynot hate TRump, Nunberg is also shielding Stone, too , by not testifying.
A Nunberg will want for nothing rrest of his life; the Repubs will take care of himc.
