Erin Burnett Directly Asks Sam Nunberg If Hes Been Drinking: 'I've Smelled Alcohol On Your Breath'

The latest portion of Sam Nunberg‘s media tour consisted of the former Trump aide brushing off everyone who’s convinced he’s gone off the deep end.

Nunberg has given SIX unhinged interviews today about his refusal to cooperate with Robert Mueller‘s subpoena, his newest interview being with CNN’s Erin Burnett. In light of how many explosive, unflattering comments Nunberg made about Donald Trump and his staff, Burnett reached out one of the president’s allies who had this to say about the president’s former aide:

“You’re drunk or off your meds.”

Nunberg laughed this off, saying “I really could care less what the Trump White House has to say about me.” He continued to argue that Trump would be in a much better place if he and Roger Stone were still part of the president’s inner circle.

Later in the interview, Burnett decided to straight up ask if Nunberg was impaired in any way during their exchange. Burnett said she smelt alcohol on Nunberg’s breath during their exchange (which he denied), and she asked him “no, you haven’t had a drink today?”

Nunberg insisted he only took antidepressants today before continuing his attack against former and current members of the Trump team.

He was off in that way that alcohol can affect a person. He certainly wasn't the same sharp guy who had it way more together during Melber's interview of a few weeks ago. Today he was sloppy in presenting his case repeating himself over and over.

He may not have been blotto but I believe he needed a little bit of liquid courage to carry out Stone's request that he perform today. Btw, that's another theory of mine. Nunberg didn't decide to call the press on his own. That had to be Stone all the way. It doesn't appear to have gone as planned.
