True, it may not continue to hold quite that high but even if it holds half that strong I will be very HAPPY!

they mean that on election day itself all the Dems will have already voted, and there will be enough Republicans left to win. Everyone wants to rejoice that this means there's a huge shift, but just wait until the polls close. Plus, this is only the primary.

In the 2008 primary season, the turnout for the Democratic caucuses was vastly greater than the turnout on the Republican side. Enough so that if it meant anything, you'd think the Democrat would take the Presidential vote that November. It wasn't even close. The Republicans who couldn't be bothered with the primary turned out in a big way for the general election.

So those numbers might simply mean more Democrats than Republicans vote early.
