Lord Haw Haw's final broadcast
"Lord Haw Haw" was German Radio's English-speaking Nazi propagandist during World War II.
On May 1st, 1945, the Fuehrer was dead, the Reich was just a few days away from final collapse, and Lord Haw Haw, drunk as a skunk and barely coherent, delivered his last radio address. He knew the jig was up and that he was doomed, along with his entire political party.
For some reason, I was thinking of him today.
