But let's nip the sympathy crap in the bud please...
This guy is the deluxe Trump insider, long time aide and in general just a smear of feces on the political porcelain.
How does he sum up his contributions to America?
" I came up with the wall, I came up with the Muslim ban, I came up with everything to attack Jeb Bush, all that stuff."
So, yeah. Keep talking you slimy sack o' stupid. You'll look great in orange.
No sympathy, no mercy. Never forgive Trumpsters

(46,166 posts)So I hope he spills his guts and it nails Stone and Trump & Co.
And if he tries to lie his way out then I'm hoping for a frog march. We deserve that treat.

5 weeks without a cig after 35+ years of smoking unfiltered Camels.
But I won't give up liquor until the Trump party is tossed out on its ass and Democrats are in charge

Unlike the White House, my bosses take that shit seriously

(43,172 posts)Not "tragic" in the modern sense of a bus of kindergartners driving off the end of a cliff while heading to see their grandparents, but rather tragic in the classical sense of watching an individual's downfall, via his own means or those around him (or frequently a combination of the two.)
The guy sold his soul to Donald Trump and Roger Stone, two of humanity's worst on parade.
It's now time for a reckoning.
Classically tragic.

(13,186 posts)Isn't a common tragic theme the dissolution of a protagonist, torn by guilt, falling into madness?
Yes we need more of that...
Also Lysistrata...

(82,849 posts)If Sam Nunberg ever faced some real adversity, what would he do? Just the prospect of a loss of status among his peers has caused him to go tottering off the deep end. What if he had to work three jobs to make ends meet, and his kid was sick? What if he couldn't get to work because his car broke down and he'd be fired if he missed a day? What if he had to choose between heating and eating in the dead of January?
Such a delicate creature!

Lord do they howl in misery when ever their own evil causes any discomfort to THEMSELVES rather than just the peons and proles they intended to hurt...
I stay angry at these fuck-knuckle every waking moment of my life

(22,976 posts)Stone is one of the ugliest figures in American politics. He delights in flinging manufactured dirt and plotting out Machiavellian schemes to damage the careers and reputations of good people. He is as low as they come.
Nunberg already dresses like Stone (pinstriped suits and loud ties, slicked-back hair) and no doubt he would like to be a King Asshole like Stone.
All of which is to say, no pity for Nunberg. None whatsoever.

(36,412 posts)David Frum was able to relaunch a career despite his 'Axis of evil' hook in George W. Bush's State of the Union address. Nunberg ain't going to be so lucky; he's DOA.

Thirty days later he will have reinvented himself and blamed all his bad actions on drugs/alcohol/mental illness and swear that is all in the past, that he is a new man. If he's really smart he'll run the "found Jesus, born again" routine and land himself a job on Fox.
