Among the questions left hanging on Thursday morning: Did Trump's team try to stop a damaging scandal emerge just before the 2016 election? Did Trump know about the payment himself? Is the President still involved in what Daniels' lawyer says is an ongoing attempt to intimidate her?

If the mess isn't cleared up soon, it could ding Trump's already compromised image ahead of midterm elections that are crucial to his political fate.

She may be a lot more moral than many people who look down their noses at her. And it's very possible that, while her approach to sex is very off-putting to most of us, she is as disgusted by Trump's hypocrisy, boorishness, and corruption as most Americans are, believes he must be exposed, and is willing to risk her safety and well-being to do it.

Daniels is capitalizing, the way I see it this case ends with her paying back the $130K to buy her freedom to say and share whatever she wants about Trump. She's already touring the country for special appearances at Strip Clubs where she's making bank. A tell all book deal in the 7 or 8 figures will easily outweigh the $130K.
