Trump steel tariffs may leave these U.S. steelworkers jobless

The U.S. steel industry employed about 147,000 people in 2015, according to the Commerce Department's Bureau of Economic analysis. Manufacturers that need steel employ about 6.5 million people each year and the construction industry 6.3 million.

More libertarian free trade BS.

The AFL-CIO and the United Steelworkers back the tariffs and so should anyone who stands with working people. Enough dumping is enough.

buried in a couple stories related to these Steel Workers. The Mills mentioned are majority owned by Putin ,China,and South Korea.

If one thinks new Furnaces are going to just reappear , Ain't going to happen. Russia is the new Steel Slab or Ingot and Pig Steel dumper via their Majority owned finish product Mills.

thingee,Russian Soft wood is flooding the Lumber Market. Canadian Lumber out,Russian Lumber in. Canadian Steel out,Russian Steel in.

My guess is,Russian Crude is replacing Latin American Crude on East Coast Refineries.

Said this before,you mess with the Agencies,well those messed with Agencies will take you down,and we are seeing it in real time.
