I have voted in every single election since 1980 when I became 18. I voted for Carter and look what I have had to endure since. I vote down ballot DEM all the way! My family is 3 generations of Dems (my 103 year old grandmom died 3 years ago so that would've made it 4 generations). As a first grade teacher I decided to teach my 6 year olds Civics and each year we would go on a "field trip" to where the polls were behind the Multipurpose Room and they saw people vote and the volunteers would give them an impromptu lesson about what they were too short to be able to see that was going on with the adults at their " desks" (we don't have booths in CA). Every year we held our own elections and the kids would vote with their own "privacy boards" at their own desks anonymously. We would tally the ballots and they were the ones that chose what to vote for, the various options, etc. They collected the ballots and read them and wrote the tally marks on the board and there were silent cheers (thumbs up or down...no noise). It was all student run and hands-on. I chose to do this every year for over 15 years when no other teachers did it nor did the curriculum promote this lesson/activity. I felt that it was an important lesson that should begin someplace and if their parents or the school system didn't include it as a lesson than I would. I even have "I VOTED" stickers in 4 language (kids love stickers and I had 4 or 5 diff. ethnicities represented in my S. CA classroom every year that I taught). My dog even has I VOTED stickers on her stuffed animals since she goes with me when I vote. I will vote on my deathbed via absentee ballot if I have to!
I do NOT want the MSM and that includes the "fake news" cable CNN and MSNBC to give away free air time to the fucking moron AGAIN! Haven't we learned from 2016?!?!? No way in hell am I going to support that! They do not give a shit about this country!!!!! They only care about ratings and $$$$, just like the moron and all his pals and the GOP have done and continue to do...sell the US to the enemy for personal, financial gain!
