quit and subsequently did not achieve in.

For those who've never danced, especially ballet, it's a hard, demanding life. Only for those truly gifted and possessing stick-to-it-tiveness.

BRAVA!, Michaela.
You are a vision of divine beauty!

Malaise, 💙.

My well-meaning mother thought it would help me become less clumsy. It didn't work; I stuck it out for a year and remained as clumsy as ever. But I got at least an idea of how much work was involved in doing ballet for real. Michaela is amazing, not only for her skill at ballet but because after all she went through, she was able to stick to it and reach her goal.

8. What a remarkable story. I also have vitiligo

which started to be noticeable when I was a child. I also studied ballet rather seriously. My teacher wanted my parents to
let me audition for the School of the NYC Ballet, but they wouldn't let me. Then we moved from NJ to California when I was a teenager and I quit
dancing for about 15 years until I started taking class again in my late 20's.

I am Caucasian. I stay out of the sun which when my skin tans, makes the vitiligo spots more pronounced. My vitiligo is really noticeable on my
hands and feet. Some people think it's from burns; I tell them I have what Michael Jackson had.

Thanks for posting the story, malaise.

she should consider herself very lucky to have been found by that loving mother thousands of miles away.

There are many great unsung heroes on our planet.

Stay out of the sun

I love how she said that the discrimination they faced over the boys with HIV prepared her for the racial discrimination to come.

If only all of us had this much love, so much better would the world be. It is almost as though she is addicted to giving love - how wondrous.
