Wow. Calm, inteligent, humble smart. Sigh.
Basically he said we'd need diplomats and scientists, and a schedule of inspections in order to verify nuclear compliance.
Since un's getting his reward : statehood status, ahead of any smaller steps, there are no incentives left to make un comply.
The scariest part is, since un will not give up the arsenal, frump can claim diplomacy failed, and so escalation will increase.
This is a fool"s errand.
