I'd be in severe trouble for referring to my kids as "deplorables" to my supervisor. I don't want to know what would happen if I used it in class.

Then again, I hear what they listen to, I see what they have on their phones, and realize that the battle for decorum was lost decades back. It's just taking a while for the last hold outs to fall.
