Fox News launching new ad campaign: 'Real news. Real honest opinion'

BY JOE CONCHA - 03/12/18 11:12 AM EDT

Fox News on Monday will launch a new ad campaign featuring the slogan "Real news. Real honest opinion," according to AdAge.com

"Fox is the one place where dissent is allowed," primetime host Tucker Carlson claims in one of the ads, the news outlet reported. "We are going to ask the tough questions because there is a lot of conventional wisdom out there that needs to be challenged," Martha MacCallum says in another.

Carlson and MacCallum were weekend morning and mid-morning hosts, respectively, before being promoted to primetime in 2017.

A trailer for the ad campaign reportedly will be released later Monday.

The new slogan will be the network's first since it retired "Fair and Balanced," which accompanied the launch of Fox News in 1996.
