Jimmy Carter promised to always tell the truth and the press was on him like white on rice, trying to catch him out. The small things that have caused "scandals" before, Obama's tan suit, George HW Bush not knowing the price of bread, just boggle the mind now - when we're expected to accept a POTUS who does nothing but lie and call everyone nasty names as "normal" these days.

for a lot longer than that, they just didn't realize it. They were drinking it for quite a while before they had it tested. Well, some people were. Others wouldn't wash their clothes in it a decade ago. However long it's been, it's been way too long, and it's a crying shame nothing has been done about it YET!
