he wont give me one vote. Look, I dont know him. Looks like a nice guy.
"I hear hes nice-looking. I think Im better-looking than him. I do. I do. I do. And hes slightly younger than me. Slightly. No, I heard that, then I saw, hes okay. Hes all right. Personally, I like Rick . I think hes handsome."
* Trump think he is slightly older than Lamb. Lamb is 33yo. He is also intimidated by his looks too. lol

(13,225 posts)Plus Conor Lamb has a charisma that is based upon in genuine interest and concern for people other than himself.
I met Conor Lamb at an event last week and had the chance to speak to him one-on-one. I was extremely impressed by his knowledge of the issues and his poise, even when confronted by one guy in the audience who was an obvious right wing plant.

(9,287 posts)Their primary response to governmental leadership is that government is itself a joke. Their goal is to defund the government and drown it.
They have now elected an inarticulate, strange and angry clown to lead their party. He is the ultimate joke played upon our form of government. Government service is vanishing at the federal level. But what the GOP hasnt realized is that the joke is also on them.

We will be the ones suffering.
Prodigiously.

(16,166 posts)fugging billionaires have nothing to do with their money except make life miserable for the poor and underclass while throwing Jesus in the poor's faces. They'll even quote the chapter where Jesus said it's great to be rich and have guns.
Here's what I've been doing. Everywhere I shop I try to strike up a conversation with the clerk or the people in line and ask, "What would you do with your second billion dollars?" Would you share or hoard? Then I explain or at least interject that there are folks that have more than two billion dollars and pay their employees shit wages with no healthcare. It's not much but it does leave some thinking.
It's time to break the chain.

(15,543 posts)why do the republicans let their ignoble Draft-Dodger-in-Chief piss all over America's Veterans? Their Porno President, Dirty Donny, always has something negative to say about people who actually served the nation.

(63,221 posts)For him to even think he could compete with a young (33), good-looking, in-shape man who served his country and actually HAS an advanced degree from his Alma Mater is sheer delusion. I don't understand how a 71 year old, fat, flabby, hideous man with no redeeming qualities or talents can possibly continue to think that he is a young, good-looking stud or even in the same ball-park as someone like Conor Lamb.
But then again, he thinks that he is a genius and knows more than all the experts about everything, so there is some serious mental illness going on there.

(54,349 posts)He is currently only running fro state auditor, but he scares the Republicans so much that they are already tossing six figures to his Republican opponent already--for state auditor of IOWA!!
His name is Rob Sand. He even looks like Connor Lamb. Very Midwestern, from a tiny town in northeast Iowa. But a solid Democrat, and with solid intentions to run for either the House or even the Senate from Iowa in the future. He is 35, but looks 18. One more of a crop of new, young, dedicated Democrats from the so-called heartland that we will need if we are to have a majority in nationwide representation in Congress again.
