It's embarrassing to admit that, but it's true. I mean, I can do them perfectly well at home, but with the stakes so high and everybody hanging on his every word... good for him!

Then, for some reason, his show really took a right-ward tilt and by the time he left, it had become nearly unwatchable.

He has a certain energy and charm.
