Pennsylvania. I believe in Pennsylvania you have to give a reason why you cannot vote in person. In California, you can setup as a permanent absentee ballot, and no reason is required

5. Yes, but for most of us the reason we can't vote in person is because we have to work...

You had to provide an address outside our district for the registrar to send you an absentee ballot.

That having been said, my precinct in Dallas has been absolutely unfailing in getting my German address right and sending me the ballots in a timely manner every time.

the U.S. voting results were reliable, I wouldn't care if it took a week.

definitely come in until 11 PM or midnight. The concession speeches and acceptance speeches then follow.

They can be "lost," mislaid, forgotten, ignored, etc.

California in particular has had a lot of problems with them in the past.

In my own case -- in GA -- I've requested ballots in plenty of time that nevertheless didn't arrive until election day or after, which renders my vote completely irrelevant.

BEST is to demand we all get paper ballots, hand counted in full public view.

...where I vote, all I see is a computer screen. After that nothing. No paper nothing. At least with a absentee ballot, I have a chance to be recounted.

I mean start demanding paper ballots for ALL Of us, EVERYWHERE, but starting especially with YOUR state since that's where you are. Tell them it's the best way to guard against Russian interference.
