Something STINKS in PA-18! On TV, first one county election supervisor said absentee
ballots would not be counted until tomorrow. Asked "Why?", he said STATE LAW REQUIRED that they seal the absentee ballots and send them back to the precincts to be opened and counted tomorrow.
Soon, we were told two other counties would also not count absentees until tomorrow.
Then, we were told the two larger counties would count them tonight, but would take "at least 3 hours" using a combination of counting by scanner and by hand. ( The "blue" county, Allegheny, somehow counted 3x as many absentees in 5 minutes of scanner time.)
My questions: Did state law suddenly change? If state law requires absentee ballots be sent back to precincts to count tomorrow, why did Allegheny county theirs? Why will it take Republican Washington County 3 hours to count 1195 absentee ballots when Democratic Allegheny County counted their 3200 in 5 minutes?
Is my tin foil hat on too tight?
