Daily Kos congratulates Conor Lamb on his victory in Pennsylvania's 18th Congressional District

Today, Daily Kos congratulated Democrat Conor Lamb on his victory in the special election for Pennsylvania’s 18th Congressional District. Daily Kos was proud to endorse Lamb in January, and the Daily Kos community contributed over $130,000 to the Lamb campaign via more than 10,000 small-dollar grassroots contributions. After red-to-blue flips already this cycle in 39 state legislative seats as well as the New Jersey gubernatorial and the Alabama U.S. Senate races, tonight’s win is the Democrats’ 42nd pickup of the cycle.
“Republicans should have held this deep-red seat without a thought. Instead, Lamb completely erased Donald Trump’s 20-point win in this district to add yet another victory to Democrats’ long and growing list,” said Daily Kos Political Director David Nir. “
