Go DU! I don't remember donating to Conor Lamb, but apparently I did so after someone on DU put him on my radar. As weird as it seems, after checking my ActBlue account, I now feel like part of the win. I'd even forgotten about Doug Jones. Don't know how the other candidates did, but win or lose, I figure it's money well spent.

2. My hat is off to those who even thought about fighting.

I've grown fairly pessimistic about the state of our politics, but I've learned to latch on to those who have hope. Catching that wave feels pretty damned good.
