It sometimes strikes me as a little bit icky when tiny kids are holding signs that they can't even read and that were written by someone else. But it's great to show kids how to get involved in free speech and democracy. So what to do?
I just love this compromise.

he sat on it, then rolled onto his side and started to take a nap. I wish I could sleep that easily. Another little kid was there with a sign that was small but if you think of the ratio it was just the right size. I thinks the mom helped out with the spelling and printing to a degree though.
