WTF is that green stuff in orange man's jacket pocket?

I come in to check on the news. Doing some hard-scaping in the yard and orange man is in a world of pooh pooh. So keeping an eye on the news is a good idea. You never know when the idiot is going to start a war or do something stupid.

Anyhow, I come in and there is the orange idiot spewing his orange garbage and there is this green thing in his jacket pocket where like a handkerchief goes. WTF is that green mess? His he trying to hide his salads in his pocket? St. Patrick's Day isn't until Saturday dude.

He looks so stupid. I don't recall any US President ever doing something that dumb. I wonder who told him it looked good?

Maybe that's why I didn't recall. Obama didn't look stupid. orange man's looked like they just crammed in there. He looked stupid and the shamrocks ended up looking like wilted crushed up lettuce.

Obama has true class and makes everything look classy. Trump OTOH is true trash and makes everything look like a dumpster overflowed.

Why Trump has a bunch of clovers in his pocket today

When Trump greeted Ireland's prime minister outside the West Wing, a bushel of clovers was spilling out of his lapel pocket.

Why? Prime Minister Leo Varadkar will return to the White House later today for the ceremonial Shamrock Bowl Presentation, where Varadkar will present Trump with a crystal bowl full of shamrocks. The tradition — where the current Prime Minister of Ireland presents the sitting President with a bowl full of shamrocks — dates back years.

Leo is wearing them too.

Oddly I knew this. Not the details, well remember all the details. I think I was mostly blindsided by how stupid he looked. It just looked so out of place. A poster posted a pic in an earlier reply of Obama wearing the same thing. Only he didn't look stupid.

**sigh** one day this nightmare will be over and we will have a President that is NOT an embarrassment.

Not enough "blade" to be turf, but it does sort of look like arugula or watercress from that distance.
But the more burning question is - why is it in his handkerchief/pen protector suit pocket?
As Beau Brummell observes - any posey must be in one's boutonniere, or at the very least wrapped in lace and pinned to the front of the breast pocket if it's to be a tussie or any other perfuming arrangement to keep the air around one pleasant - but it is not to actually be in a pocket - the pocket is where a ploughman's lunch goes.

Trump has no class. Shamrocks are very fragile and begin to fade the moment they are picked, any run of the mill genius would have known they aren't suitable for pocket bouquet.
