hugely motivational to get to the polls!

I mean, what an upset! And, if about 700 people had NOT voted, we'd have lost.

Not so with the Republican party right now. They're sort of running around with their tails between their legs. BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN WE CAN STAY HOME AND REST! GET EVERYONE TO THE POLLS! GOTV!!

It really is foolish to not do your civic duty. Or to cast ballots for candidates you don't understand.

We have about as much civics literacy as personal finance literacy. Neither are taught anymore.

You ALL go to the poll together! No excuses! It's a family affair!

It costs me about $5 every time to mail in my absentee ballot (we get whacked for extra for those big envelopes), and it more often than not does no good. But some day it will. Maybe my vote will be the one that puts Beto O'Rourke over the top to displace Ted Cruz-you-lose in the US Senate. You never know, but I refuse to be the one who did NOT vote and let Cruz squeak back in by my one missed vote. I may be 5000 miles from Texas, but my voice WILL be heard.
