One Day DU Challenge: 3/16/2018
Tomorrow, if you are willing, start an op about your favorite elected official. From city council to President. Doesn't matter. Past or present. Doesn't matter.
Maybe you have a personal story that connects you to the person. Maybe they just piss on Republicans every day. Maybe your local dog catcher sniffs the ass of each dog to make them feel more at home.
Please note that some posters who go with local elected officials might be promoting a Democrat who falls under the Independent label. In some local races it's simply what happens.
All positive and all about Democrats. There is a lot of good out there. There is a history of great work by many.
I have been introduced to many excellent names over the years by DU'ers posting about elected officials close to them. It helps me learn about my friends here and all of the good work that has been done and is being done. I find it to be inspirational.
Take some time and pick a person. One person. Lets hear about them and why they rock.
