Leader of neo-Nazi group Trump retweeted gets nose broken a week after being jailed for harassing Muslims

The leader of a neo-Nazi group has already been attacked in jail a week after being sent there for illegally harassing Muslims. The Mirror reported Thursday that Paul Golding, the leader of Britain First, suffered a suspected broken nose just a week into his 18-week sentence.

Golding, along with deputy leader Jayda Fransen, was convicted of religiously aggravated harassment for leading a smear campaign against the families of two Muslim defendants on trial for allegedly harassing a white teen.

The neo-Nazi leaders led a “campaign to draw attention to the race, religion and immigrant background of the defendants” — which included “threatening and abusive” behavior towards their families that included children and a pregnant woman.

Britain First made headlines stateside last year after President Donald Trump retweeted three posts the neo-Nazi group made about Muslims committing violence against Christian and European people and iconography.
