Paris Dennard: Trump "doesn't want to dignify" Daniels story, "true or false, because it's personal"

Asked by Baldwin why Trump has remained silent on Daniels, Dennard suggested “the president wants to dignify this story, true or false … this is something that is terribly embarrassing for the first lady.”

***

“I will say that you have no respect for Mrs. Trump, you have no respect for his children, you have no respect for his family,” Dennard said.

“No, I’m sorry,” Wilson replied. “Don’t you dare talk about respect when he insulted the [Khizr] Khan family, when he insulted John McCain’s war service. A man who has no respect for anyone on this earth. The fact that you’re defending him on that speaks much more about your character.”

After a continued back and forth, Wilson went off, once again, on Dennard’s moral framework.

“The argument that Donald Trump’s lifelong pattern of infidelity, adultery, shattering every vow of every one of his marriages by his own admission and the fact that Donald Trump screwed a porn star—I don’t think Melania Trump will be more embarrassed by what Michael Cohen or Stormy Daniels has to say than by the fact that a few months after she had a kid her husband was screwing a porn star. That’s what you’re saying that’s okay. I get it. you accept that, that’s part of your moral landscape, good for you.”

in what another panalist has to say, I'll mute the Jack Kingston types. In general, I try to avoid CNN because they specialize in booking the freaks, they feel it generate ratings and that equals profit.

I'm really glad that Rick Wilson pushed back on that phony piece of warmed-over baloney. Trump has no ethical compass, no boundaries when it comes to other people. If Trump's getting hit by this story in some actual place of sensitivity, well, that's called payback is a bear.

Trump would like nothing better than to take this fight out of the public arena of the Los Angeles County Superior Court and hide it behind the private curtain of ADR California. What does that tell people? Trump customarily likes his fights out in the open, where his slavering chimps can wet themselves watching their champion take on a badly outmatched opponent. Is Trump afraid of Stormy Daniels? And why has he suddenly gone silent on Twitter about this? Usually, Trump can't stop himself from tweeting about anything and everything, even when it incriminates him even further. And he hasn't heretofore evinced much concern about embarrassing the Third Lady.

Trump's departure from his customary tactics in this instance is certainly curious.

I guess I just assumed it was the person in the middle and Paris just seemed like a female name to me. Either way, it was a pathetic thing to say. I guess it figures that it was a man who said it.

was badly deluded. I don't think his bad morals was a secret before the 2016 election. And it won't probably an issue in 2020.

Only reason he scraped together a EV win was some other issues the voters were affected by and concerned with. I think the PA-18 result is a lot to learn from if we want to take back congress and defeat tRump in 2020.

for some reason or other paid a porn star 130 thousand dollars, to keep her from talking to people about our minor infidelities with her, that lasted only a few months or years and (who knows) maybe even never happened? And then the lawyer starts complaining to people about not being reimbursed so it looks we might have to pay him and finally the lawyer has to sue the porn star to keep her from telling people about these minor infidelities that were so minor we can't even remember them? And then the press starts reporting all this fake news and the next door neighbors still won't pay for the fence around the pool and there's that lady who hasn't been locked up and there isn't any fake news about that! It's unfair. Everybody knows what this feels like
