(7,911 posts)The people have been conditioned, little by little, to accept each new outrage as "normal". It won't stop until Trump drops dead of a burger-induced heart attack.

(14,565 posts)Trump a few weeks ago and by his standards was avoiding outrageous acts and statements. I was worried his approval rating would slowly climb. Now with this Daniels and McCabe stuff it should shove independents further toward our camp, and that's the whole ball game.
College campus registration drives need to be priority A-Z. I've been posting that for more than a year and I'm glad Tom Steyer figured it out recently.

(21,421 posts)"Even if the IGs report was right, McCabes firing was part of Trumps effort to undermine Mueller and thereby obstruct justice."
First of all............ if the report is right.......... the game is over. "Yeah your honor they had cause to fire me, but they would have looked the other way if not for the Russia thing, so give me my pension." If that is your argument, good luck with that.......
Second.......... drumpf has to actually move on Mueller (I.e. obstruct justice) or the theory about undermining holds no water. Right now Mueller is continuing his investigation and this firing has no effect on that.
