He will get his pension, only he will have to wait until he is 57 and it will be smaller. He will get a job in the private sector.

Donate to a Democrat for Congress instead.

I have some web sites saved so I can see who to donate to so it'll do some good.

I hope you're right about the pension, but this is like reagan firing the air traffic controllers and deserves getting knocked down. trump understands money, and if Mr. McCabe gets his pension, plus generous support of the go fund me accounts, it'll poke trump right in the eye.

There are others who have been hurt more and less resources to fight back - detained immigrants for example.

Gov't workers have a plan similar to 401-k. It builds up tax deferred with contributions from employee and matching contributions from gov't. That is his money. He keep it. He could lose the portion of retirement monthly pension accrued with 21 years of service.

He just can't start collecting on Sunday like he wanted to. Even that would have been an injustice because he was being forced out, but at least he was leaving on his own terms.

From what I gather hearing news here and there, getting fired is enough to lose monthly pension at FBI. But I will concede it is not from official sources.

http://retirement.federaltimes.com/2013/03/26/options-after-firing/

Q. I was federally employed as a Border Patrol agent in November 1988, then joined the FBI in June 1991 and was fired May 2011 (no break in service since November ’88). I was 48. I can find no answers regarding retirement benefits. I was told I forfeited everything, but I could find nothing in writing. What are my options?

A. Unless your firing was connected with any of the offenses cited in 5 U.S. Code 8312, which largely involve treason, rebellion and seditious conduct, you’d be eligible for a deferred annuity at age 60, but only if you left your retirement contributions in the retirement fund when you left. If you took a refund, you wouldn’t be entitled to anything.

Send it to a Democrat running in your area!

McCabe will be fine! He’s wealthy, he’s got at least one very lucrative book deal in his future, and he’s going to sue and more than likely win.

Please, people, don’t waste your money here!

A quick look at his Wikipedia page tells me he was educated at "The Bolles School" a day and boarding school with (current) tuition rates of over $10,000 for PRE-K to over $26,000 for high school.

I strongly suspect he's a trust fund baby, and he'll probably gladly take your $$$, but he will most likely do just fine without it.

and I hope land on his feet. But I feel good about seeing the Go Fund Me accounts set up (there are more this morning) and getting some donations. More like a protest and a slap at trump.

There are so many others who need help more. There are candidates who are fighting a good fight. I'm paying attention.

The Go Fund Me for McCabe is my 'Mad Money' this week. I'm mad trump is still wrecking people's lives and destroying my country.

Most are probably outright scams.

The rest probably have good intentions but are down by people with no connection to him, without asking him, with no idea if he wants or will even accept the money.

think he got the shaft (and he definitely did) that they were willing to try to help out, if only symbolically (and some of those fundraisers might not be legit, so be careful). I don't think he'll go hungry, but the principle is that if you do your job well for over 20 years you should be able to collect all the benefits promised by that job. I am wondering if there was some under-the-table pressure on whoever decided McCabe should be fired (besides Sessions), since I can't figure out what it was he did that was so terrible as to warrant depriving him of some of his pension benefits at the very last minute. The whole thing stinks. I hope McCabe tells everything he can legally disclose about this situation.
