The FBI and law enforcement in general are in the majority Republicans.
This tempers my feeling sorry for him on a personal level.

it would be nice if he re-thought his political affiliation, now that he knows how it feels to be treated like garbage, but I doubt it

(14,167 posts)There are very few Republicans who actually speak out and exhibit some bravery. The rest just bow down to this monster. They all deserve to be voted out of office. And sorry to say, but many are just being visited by Lady Karma.

(9,291 posts)and early 1990's was democratic. Then republicans played up that law and order BS and some people ( mostly men) fell for it. We use to believe in service, and knew we were taxed supported.
Besides ICE, and only sadistic assholes would take that job, it might start turning back. Also, the military , especially active duty but not officers need to wake up.
They are being played, takes awhile to accept it. Trump might help that.

Hell get a good pension, but will have to wait a few years. Hes also just 50. Right wing companies will be itching to hire him, there are books, etc. He will not be homeless.
