Petty. taking pleasure in hurting and humiliating others. Not only does Trump take pleasure in hurting McCabe, but he also hurts his family, his children, when he takes away his pension. I'm certain that Trump never even thought about McCabe's family. Never occurred to him.

I don't hate Trump, but I do see him for what he is. He's a deeply insecure, selfish, greedy man. Just a big ugly ego filled with negative disturbing emotions parading around.

Stay focused on electing Dems in Nov, so we can impeach him.

He had stepped down from his position and was drawing vacation days. So the firing does not "fix" the chain of command or do anything at all except cheat him out of his earned pension.

McCabe has a strong case for suing for his pension; and maybe his reputation as well.

His pension. He will have to wait until he is 65 instead of receiving it at 50. But that is beside my point that a serial liar and his perjurer stooge fired the man over “lack of candor”.

... then I'm not sure what to say about you.

Are you rich? Why do you think 15 years worth of enhanced pension is inconsequential?

At his salary level that will work out to be hundreds of thousands of dollars.

In 2008, when I had 29.6 years vested, the union made the decision that, due to pension law changes made during the Bush Administration, those that did not have 30 pension years vested by Sept 1 would have to wait until the age 65 to receive a full pension. I was 48 at the time and worked since I was 16. I was 5 months away from 30 full pension years. 65 - 48 = I lost out on 17 years of pension by 5 months. Don’t get in my grill about about not understanding. A decent person would apologize for that flaming.

Given your experience it makes it even stranger that you would write off 15 years of McCabe's pension, as if it is not a point that shows how mean and vindictive tRump and Sessions are.

There is no way I could have known about your pension issue (sorry you had to go through that) but it still does not erase McCabe's pension issue.

‘Lack of candor”. I noticed that posters were claiming that McCabe loses his pension in total. I merely pointed out that he is vested and only the timing of that pension would be affected. I PRESENTED ZERO THOUGHTS ON THAT POINT. You made your own extrapolations. I know better than you what Mccabe is feeling this morning. You made assumptions that were totally inaccurate. You owe me an apology sir.

You can quibble that stealing 15 years is not stealing the whole pension just part of it, but I stand on the fact that Sessions vindictively stole from McCabe.

Your post was not entirely logical and as you say did not explain that point, so I inquired as to why would would write the way you did, since it seemed to treat the loss of 15 years as inconsequential. Technically you did not state that it was inconsequential but you passed over that point as if it did not exist. So you can have a little apology from me over that technicality.

You can't expect every reader on DU to have prior knowledge of your experience. You had it on your mind (understandably so) but we can't read your mind. We can only read the words you write.

I do thank you for clarifying that the pension is only one of timing and only about the couple hundred thousands of dollars he would lose over 15 years and not a larger sum. If he lives to be 72 he would get only 7 years of pension instead of 22 years.

I don't care about pension, McCabe will be just fine... the firing seems to be a means to discredit McCabe in front of jury in testimony against DT...

I believe most people will see this for what it is, but it still confirms even further how vile DT and his ilk are

The firing does nothing to make the FBI run better. It does not set an example or precedent for "proper" behavior.

In fact, it will only make FBI employees more eager to help Mueller get rid of tRump and Sessions who are shitting all over the many fine women and men working diligently there serving the US citizens.

They saw him for a few minutes on a scripted reality show and thought that was him? Every New Yorker who lived or worked near this clown knew better. Everyone who lived or worked near his failed casino in New Jersey knew this.

Easily fooled people, some who need Medicaid and food stamps are on the first tier to be injured shortly. Every decision he does is faulty and cruel. If he sticks around long enough, he will hurt those white above average income males too. They just don't believe it can happen to them. It will, in time because to Trump, you mean nothing.
