So, a skinhead former Creation Museum worker gets busted with arms and 1.25 pounds of C-4

For a Creationist, he sounds like someone who was going to test the Big Bang Theory all by himself.

He also had guns and silencers. What, now it's not enough to shoot students and teachers? They now want to blow up the school once they're done? The God Squad doesn't seem to honor their "in God we trust" motto much any more.

How come the 2nd amendment ends at guns? Isn't C-4 considered "arms"? ProudLib72 Mar 2018 #1

How interesting that he could legally possess all the nasty guns he wanted, but when he obtained a little C-4 it was time for the po po to show up.

Regulation of C-4 was not exactly on the radar of the Continental Congress. Madison was very forward thinking, but for him, that would have been science fiction.

My point is that we don't have an issue regulating plastic explosives, but we do have an issue regulating firearms. Back in the day you could order up some dynamite to blow up your tree stumps. Nowadays, however, you have to jump through hoops to prove you need explosives and know how to use them. If we are able to severely restrict who gets their hands on explosives, it seems logical we ought to be able to severely restrict who gets their hands on guns.

When you could order dynamite for tree stumps, there were a lot more people with a lot more tree stumps and a lot less crazies out there with the idea that people were more fun to blow up than tree stumps. The same goes for guns, especially rapid-fire guns, which no one even imagined back then. Even the Gatling Gun didn't show until around the time of the Civil War. In 1787, the main concern was another war with the British, not Mrs. Livingston's 7th grade home room.

I'm talking about the discrepancy in logic evidenced by viewing an arsenal of firearms as "normal" and a little package of C-4 as a "terrorist threat". 1.25 lbs of C-4 is not very much. It's just one little block.

Hey, look, it's quarter to one in the morning, it just became my birthday here at midnight, and I was just asked if I might not want to retire for the evening by one of the friendly natives here.

I think this will have to wait until morning!

Obama Recession. Maybe made a few bad decisions, but only because Democrats set a poor example and prevented prayer in school.

Verdict: not a terrorist/criminal. Rehabilitation, therapy, and a deferred sentence are clearly indicated...
