Never been a big country music fan so I didn't know them until their controversy.

I think Kathy Griffin's career will fare better because her core audience probably saw eye to eye with her politically, even if they thought she went too far with that image.

She is extremely funny, and actually wasn't all that political. She mostly attacked other showbiz people.

She was punished way too harshly for her bad taste joke. It was a pictorial joke. Comedians should get more slack. They have to push the edge, and sometimes they get it wrong.

I'm glad she had this outpouring of support by the public. She's back.
