None of the Constitutional fathers ever imagined how corrupt our government could become in the name of the dollar.

An Oscar worthy performance by one very underrated actor.
Murrow gained fame by broadcasting for CBS from London during the height of the Blitz. His command of the language at the time was second only to Sir Winston himself.

I was rather horrified by his interview with Liberace.
As related in Clooney's film, that interview was extracted by CBS in payment for Murrow to cover McCarthy.

(6,227 posts)7. What I thought was going to happen
I honestly thought the repubs in the House and Senate would ram though bill after bill & that trump would sign them. We would all be aghast. However I never thought he'd be such a divisive, mean spirited, dangerous moron. We see that the repubs are just allowing trump to do whatever he wants to do. We must fight like hell to defeat the repubs in November. It is our only way to slow/stop the trump/repub agenda.
