Carl Gallup is a pro-Trump pastor who hosts a weekly podcast called Freedom Friday. Last week, he interviewed the executive editor of the PNN Network, Mike Shoesmith, who had a theory about why famed physicist Stephen Hawking was able to live for so long with ALS.

According to Shoesmith, Hawking’s death just weeks after the death of the Reverend Billy Graham was no coincidence.

“So in 1942, that’s when Billy Graham’s ministry really takes off; and who do you think was born in 1942 Stephen Hawking,” Shoesmith said.

“Stephen Hawking comes from a long line of atheists—his father and all these people—so I believe the devil said, ‘Okay, this guy was just born and I’m going to use this guy. This guy is already primed to accept my message that there is no God. He is already primed for it, he is going to be awash, immersed in atheism all his years as a child, I’m going to take over this guy’s life.’” he continued.

Good thing he's behind that lectern and we can't see him from the waist down. Kinda reminds me of the video I once saw some years back, where the tellyvangelist was interrupted by a man who succumbed to the glory of the lawd by falling face down on the floor and humping his brains out. Preacher-man declared it was a wonderful thing to watch, as clearly the guy was filled with the holy spirit. Ugh!

Not long ago, after a lifetime as a sincere fundamental Baptist, I became an atheist. Even now I wonder what took me so long. Just wanna say, with a true believer like Gallups, who needs Satan?
