Her discussion on Cambridge Analytica was the best I've seen.

(51,432 posts)I watched two of the videos with Wylie and in the one he said that Facebook asked him to delete the data which he said he had already done. Rachael said that he said he hadn't done so before then. Both DID say that Facebook did this "thorough" deleting of the data process with CA and Wylie via letter/form which he read and said it was deleted already and sent it back to Facebook. Now here's the kicker (and I read this in an article earlier today) that this is what Facebook did do with everyone BUT this is all they did! They never followed up on it and took everyone's word for IT! Gee, how super secure they are. My, my they are taking this so seriously!
Delete your account if you can.
Here it is at 9:00 and 9:26 on the video.
Also, a NY professor is able to get CA to give him info on his account through British law and is suing them.

(51,432 posts)I am not surprised though. They are way ahead of US politically and they know that PUTIN has fucked up all of their elections. Different EU countries have educated their citizens with huge public campaigns to teach them how to be aware of propaganda in social media, especially before elections. Some countries even stop social media a day or so before elections to prevent more brainwashing right before voting. It worked in France but was too late for other countries.

(I would also add that the entire show was fantastic today, beyond just this obvious standout segment).
