Cambridge Analytica: What do we know?

Created by Trump supporter, far-right conservative billionaire Robert Mercer. Steve Bannon was on the board. Cambridge Analytica made contact with Russians with a plan to influence American voters.

Going undercover, Britain's Channel 4 exposed Cambridge Analytica boasting of bribing politicians, and sending Ukrainian prostitutes to their residences, in order to blackmail politicians.

A former Facebook employee further claims 200 million or more users had their data compromised as well. Apparently, Facebook sold user data to Cambridge Analytica for their "psychological studies" which allowed them to profile and target users, and sell personal information to Russian bots who worked to undermine the election process in Trump's favor.

Most alarming of all, Cambridge Analytica's parent company currently works with the US State Department and NATO.
