What the FB/Cambridge Analytica Expos says about Trump Voters: Many Are Gullible Sheeple

All the bullshit Trump supporter interviews asking people what they like about Trump and them saying "Oh, he says it like it is, what's on his mind" FUCK THAT. Those people bought and ate a shit sandwich that was a set of carefully crafted tag lines and phrases that Trump paid tens of millions of dollars for to dig it out of these fucking idiot minds. This was not Trump speaking like one of them, it was Trump telling them exactly what they wanted to hear. It was BULLSHIT and I hope they fucking realize it, but just in case they don't, I'm here to rub it in their fucking faces.

The other Trump supporters were the deplorables just as Clinton said. They were one of a group of racists, chauvinistic pigs, bigots, or more than one or all of the above.

the CA effort, the way Wylie describes it, was so sophisticated that there was no way you could know where it came from. You had information coming at you from established sources that you trusted. They ramped up their message to each user so they were like the frogs not noticing the water was starting to boil.

If they had come after me, I don't know that I would have seen it.

As it is, I feel like some of the messages that were floating around here came from them, and all of us fell for them in one way or another, either to believe them or to begin to hate those who believed them.

and prejudices.

It wasn’t just about targeting Trump voters, it was also about taking potential Hillary voters and appealing to their fears with lies and false stories to literally scare them into not voting for HRC.

Were you able to watch Channel 4’s series? I recommend it, I came away very disturbed by what went on in terms of the psychological manipulation used.. There are 3 episodes so far, they are only about 16 minutes each.

If you have limited time, number 1 and number 3 are the most relevant to your discussion.
