Senator Bob Corker made the comment that when they went home to meet their voters, the only thing they wanted to know was, "Do you support President Trump"?

They do not care about Stormy Daniels and are not the least bit concerned about Vladimir Putin or the Russia investigation. They support their Dear Leader, no matter what.

If their Leader was accused of murder and he was found with the smoking gun in his hand, they would not believe it.

It is a cult. It is not a political Party. They don't really care about the politics. They care about their Leader. That is all.

Republicans that go against Donald Trump will pay a big price. They know that. And there is nothing they can do except support their Leader or resign. It is not a rational political Party.

2. First.. dismantle Fox "news" and all those damned RW conspiracy sites

Put in place some STRONG regulation on INTENTIONAL dissemination of overtly false content masked as "news" like the Brits do on tv--this would be every bit as difficult as gun control, but at least re-institute the FAIRNESS DOCTRINE.

Restore public education in this country--drumming out the horrendous Betsy Devos types and those who would reinvent history to their political aims in course curricula.

Dismantle the FCC regs that allow for media monopolies and buy up of local stations like Sinclair.

This would be a start.

We like to think it is only 30% or so, but I think it is much more than that. Recent polls show 85% of Republicans still support him but he has support from many former Democrats and Independents also. They like the shit he feeds them.

The vast volume of people who supported the Confederacy Against the United States, has many generations of Offspring's, and ( "Some/Many" )those Offspring's Are Trump Supporters.
They did not just show up, they were during Obama's Term, calling themselves the "Tea Party Republicans"... In the 1960's we saw them in the streets beating people and using the police to attack people with clubs, dogs, high pressure water-hoses and what ever they could and hanging people... and these people had kids and groomed them from one generation to the next.

They Found a Belligerent Hell Raising Racist Bigot, who is every kind of criminal one can imagine, who has absolutely no respect for America's system of Governance, and a Disregard for Every Department and Division within America's Governing System. They found someone who Idolizes Putin's White Dominated Russian Regime - it fits their Ideas of White Nationalist Madness, who live by the pursuits of Greed by Any Means. One only has to look back at the Vile Mentality of the Confederate Slave Owners System and the Character Presents Itself Clearly.
