The one GOOD thing -- IF we can end up extracting ourselves from the Russian deathgrip -- is that it's coming out into the open.

I mean, as National Security Advisor, I know John doesn't have to be confirmed by the Senate, but one would hope that the person in that position has the highest clearance, so that he can indeed advise the president on matters of national security.

I wonder if anyone in the popular media will notice Mr. Bolton's seemingly compromised position? Because that would be really damaging to Bolton's qualifications for the job.
