I hope the Dems can continue the investigation on there own? Also if the Dems do this do they have to have REPUBS present? Anyway the Repubs couyld stop them from doing this? TY in advance.

I dont know what the Dems can do independently, but they have NO power, NONE, in the House or Senate.

(16,906 posts)I can't find it now but just on CNN the Dem mentioned they wanted to meet with him? Will keep looking tho. I did find this comment from Adam Schiff We will be setting out the facts that we know to date, to the degree that the intelligence community will allow us to make those public, Schiff said. There are individuals who want to cooperate with our committee and share information, and will continue to do so.

(6,070 posts)The committees have subpoena power and the ability to compel testimony. Lacking that, the congressional D's could continue to investigate -- but only like you or I would trying to find a missing sweater.
