Today Trump dumped Dowd. Suspicions are that it won't be long until he dumps Cobb, also. He wants pit-bulls fighting for him.
He has signed the Alex Jones-like character, Joseph DiGenova, to help with his attacks against Mueller and his investigation. Rumor is that he is going to bring back his long-time attorney, Kasowitz, into the flock.
One thing we can expect from DiGenova is a strong imagination. He can bring up conspiracy theories that the average person can only dream about. At the moment, he seems to be very much into the "deep state", with all its machinations against Donald Trump. They are trying to "frame him", he says.
Mueller and his team will need to bring their muzzles with them to the interview, just to keep the snarling to a lower volume. Trump's team will probably object to any video or audio recordings of the hearing as their first volley? For them, everything is negotiable. For Mueller, maybe not so negotiable.

(82,849 posts)Old lawyer saying: When the facts are against you, pound the law. When the law is against you, pound the facts. When the facts and the law are against you, pound the table.
But Mueller is going to be trafficking in facts, and all the histrionics in the world aren't going to get much traction against the methodical presentation of facts I expect Mueller's team will relentlessly lay out.
