The District of Columbia and the state of Maryland have filed a lawsuit against President Trump, alleging the president violated the emoluments clause of the US Constitution.

I suppose one had to wait for actionable, documented and investigate-able activities after the swearing on of Trump, before being able to file the lawsuits. I hope they have all the evidence they need to make this stick and prosecutable .... boy I sure use "able" a lot in one sentence. So I suppose since this is brought on by the States, there is no pardon...right?
