To see something really special--how the White House is supposed to be--I recommend

scenes from The West Wing. What an amazing program.

I have been watching The West Wing on Netflix, working my way through the series. Today I watched this episode combining clips from
President Carter, President Clinton, President Ford, Dee Dee Myers, Peggy Noonan, David Gergen, Karl Rove, Paul Begala, Leon Panetta,
Henry Kissenger, and others intermingled with scenes from The West Wing. It was marvelous.

It doesn't have to be the shitshow that 45 has become, regardless of whether it is a Democratic or Republican administration.

We must rid ourselves of 45. He is an aberration and abomination and insult to the office. At this point, I don't really care how he is removed.
But for the sake of the country and our future, he must go.

But I'd settle for 45 gone, Pence impeached when Democrats take control of the House and Senate and November in
both Ryan and McConnell are removed from power (if Ryan even gets re-elected, which I doubt).

11. I began watching WW about five years ago

I began watching WW about five years ago and without fail, Sorkin is a genius at dramatizing so many small details into transfixing arcs.

Such a wonderful show. Such a contrast to the current administration.

But I'd forgotten so many of the individual shows and plots.

I had no memory of this Special Edition show with comments from the real Presidents and staff members. It makes you believe
that it could, once again, after we are rid of 45, have a White House that might be worthy of respect.
