Ok, so the House republicans wont impeach. Can they at least take back their power to make war?

The constitution, sec 1 art 8, says that the congress shall have the power to declare war. Not the president.

It seems prudent that, with the ascent of John Bolden to to White House and the continuing chaos and petty thuggery coming from the Oval Office, that Congress reclaim its authority concerning the most daunting of its responsibilities, that of waging war in the name of the American people.

If tRump decides to preemptively strike North Korea he will be doing because YOU said he could. The YOU I’m talking about is the American populace. Through your congressional representative war can be or cannot be engaged in. This concept has fallen on a slippery slope of excuses in which your congressman/women have abrogated their responsibilities in this area to the president.

If tRump attacks anyone, we have none to blame but ourselves. Their is no assigning blame elsewhere. He will be acting in YOUR name. Congress likes to express their constant disbelief in the unhinged activities of the beast in the Oval Office. But they fail to take preemptive action to curtail the delusional behaviors we have all witnessed.

It is my prediction that sometime in late August or early September tRump will attack North Korea or Iran. This will be an effort to save Republican house and senate seats from the on coming Blue Wave in the November midterm elections and sweeping defeat of republicans across the nation. tRumps ability to act unilaterally and without any consent is supremely dangerous and highly likely. An attack is likelier than not to spark a world wide war whose consequences can’t be imagined or survived.

Congress has a constitutional obligation, and each member swore an oath, to protect the constitution. Allowing this towering adolescent to continue with this kind of power is unnecessary, untenable and unacceptable.

President could start shooting whenever he wants and Congress would have the impossible choice of surrender or retroactive approval.
