Just woke up and saw the news!

Apparently the actual trillion dollar plus change spending bill, now law, signed by the President*, had ZERO of the insane cuts of his proposed budget created by the ghost of Ayn Rand on steroids.

Is that true or is there a huge catch?

*not the real President

Ryan and McConnell needed Dem votes to avoid another shutdown and to fix some big problems with the tax bill so Dems got all their major priorities except a DACA fix.

our leaders.

Isn't the net effect of this (and the trillion borrowed dollar tax cut) just status quo, a sane status quo, for the federal government budget - except the fucking sacred cow military gets another ridiculous feeding and the corporations and rich make out like bandits?

Is that a win for progressives, even if Shitler and his crack team of economic advisers from Fox News either got rooked or did not read it and he signed it into law?

Is roooking winning?

between NY and NJ. Do you know RUMP BLOCKED this federal money and without the federal $$ it couldn't be done.

RUMP purposely blocked this money. I heard about it on the local news. He blocked funding to his home state for a very seriously needed INFRASTRUCTURE project. He is beyond disgusting.

So for everybody saying we need to get rid of this one or that one...they're too old blah blah blah. They know how shit is run, they know how to play the game and only time and experience grants that.

So the next time I see a Schumer should be fired thread or Pelosi has gots to go bullshit I'm gonna BLOW.

It is usually DOA and Congress starts all over, usually adjusting previous versions of appropriations, and occasionally throwing the President a bone here and there.
