Can we really walk and chew gum at the same time?
Where should we be focused primarily?

(19,558 posts)1. Are they mutually exclusive?
Couldn't the fact that Trump is so easily caught in such a situation make him more susceptible to blackmail? I certainly think that's something worth considering.

(62,444 posts)2. What I found amusing...
Were the threads on "What will Trump do to distract from the Daniels story?"
Hard to find good, earnest irony like that anymore.
I can't for the life of me find the connection between:
1. Whether Daniels' succeeds in rescinding the NDA with Cohen/Trump, and
2. We rid ourselves of this orange maggot.
Yeah, the campaign contribution aspect is interesting. No, the FEC is not going to get around to that anytime soon, and the Daniels/Cohen/Trump litigation is not going to come up with anything interesting on that point since nobody disputes that the 130k payment was made for the purpose of helping his campaign.
If I was Cohen, I'd be paying Daniels more for keeping this story afloat, because it does not damage him politically. It doesn't make me detest him any more, because that meter has been pegged for a long time, and it doesn't cost him one iota of support among his base.
