(14,570 posts)He's awfully weak on guns (given the new movement), and he is also very weak on wind power.
Here's what Colorado Pols says: "Windsor is home to a Vestas blade factory. Numerous smaller companies in Colorado support the wind power industry, from manufacturing to installation to operations.
And yet all four Colorado Republicans in the House voted to kill the wind power production tax credit. Dont you think somebody should ask them why they voted directly, transactionally to kill Colorado jobs for the sake of tax cuts for the richest Americans?"
A darned good question, if you ask me, and the people out knocking on doors and making calls need to stress this, because those Vestas people worrying about their jobs need to know just HOW much Ken Buck cares about them.

Buck has to go. He and Coffman both. Two good candidates there, too.

(15,800 posts)And stay in touch.
Once I get over this cold from hell I'm going to start making anti-Buck buttons and bumper stickers (he HATES them, by the way).
And you're right, his wife also needs replacing. My favorite Perry Buck story: She was one of several candidates participating in a public forum on disability issues. The room was filled with wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes, and oxygen tanks. At one point a woman raised her hand to ask a very informed and detailed question, and Perry's eyes quickly glazed over. Then she responded with, "You people are so well informed that I feel handicapped in your presence!" Even her supporters gasped in disbelief.
Ken and Perry Buck are proof that in Weld County a cow pie could get elected as long as it had an R stuck on it.
We've got fantastic candidates. We've done it before, we can do it again.
Again, WELCOME ABOARD!
